Nikon has this week unveiled its new Nikon Coolpix P900 camera that is equipped with a massive 83x zoom lens that is capable of capturing every pore on a person’s skin from 10 miles away, says Nikon.
The Nikon Coolpix P900 is a 16-megapixel CMOS bridge camera that is fitted with an optically stabilised lens that offers a focal range that has a 35mm equivalent of 24-2,000mm.
Although the new Nikon 900 camera is fitted with a 1/2.3-inch sensor similar to that spund on compact point-and-shoot cameras. Aperture settings on the Coolpix P900 are from 4/2.8 to 6.5 and the ISO range is 100-1,600 in auto mode, and up to 6,400 in PASM modes.
Other features of the new Nikon Coolpix P900 include built-in wireless connectivity for transferring images or connectivity via the Nikon smartphone application which is available for both Android and iOS devices.
Nikon has also equipped camera with NFC connectivity that allows compatible Android smartphones and tablets to be used to view, trigger and transfers images with ease.
