Google has released the factory images for Android 6.0.1 for its Nexus 2015 devices and also some of its other devices.
The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update brings some new features to the Nexus 2015 devices which include some new emoji and also some changes to on screen navigation buttons on tablets.
The update has enabled band 12 LTE support on the new Nexus phones for 2015, this included the Nexus 5x and the Nexus 6p.
The new Android Marshmallow software should be released as an over the air update shortly, it is now available to download as a factory image for the Google Nexus 5X, the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and the Nexus 7.
In order to install the factory images on your Nexus device you will need to restore your device using the original factory firmware, make sure you back up your device before installing the software.
