Earlier this month the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 showed up in some benchmarks and now it looks like Samsung will unveil the device next month.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be made official at a press conference on the 26th of February 2017 and we have some more information on the tablet.
Display and Performance
According to Naver, the tablet will come with a 9.6 inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, this ties in with the benchmarks we saw recently. This high-resolution display ensures that users will have a crisp and clear viewing experience, making it ideal for watching videos, browsing the web, and reading e-books.
The tablet will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and an Adreno 530 GPU. The Snapdragon 820 is a powerful processor that was used in many flagship devices, ensuring that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be able to handle demanding applications and multitasking with ease. The Adreno 530 GPU will provide excellent graphics performance, making the tablet suitable for gaming and other graphics-intensive tasks.
Memory and Storage
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will also come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. The 4GB of RAM will allow for smooth multitasking and quick switching between apps, while the 32GB of storage provides ample space for apps, games, and media. For users who need more storage, it is likely that the tablet will support expandable storage via a microSD card slot, although this has not been confirmed yet.
Other specifications on this new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 include a 5 megapixel front-facing camera and a 12 megapixel rear camera. The front-facing camera will be suitable for video calls and selfies, while the rear camera will be capable of taking high-quality photos and videos. The tablet will come with Android 7.0 Nougat, which includes a range of new features and improvements over previous versions of the operating system.
Additional Features and Anticipation
In addition to the core specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to come with a range of additional features that will enhance the user experience. These may include a fingerprint scanner for added security, a USB Type-C port for fast charging and data transfer, and support for Samsung’s S Pen stylus, which would make the tablet a great choice for note-taking and drawing.
We will have full details on the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 tablet along with some photos of the device at Mobile World Congress next month. The Mobile World Congress is one of the biggest events in the tech calendar, and it is likely that Samsung will use the event to showcase the Galaxy Tab S3 alongside other new products.
The anticipation for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is high, as it has been a while since Samsung released a new high-end tablet. The Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to compete with other premium tablets on the market, such as the Apple iPad Pro and the Microsoft Surface Pro. With its powerful specifications and range of features, the Galaxy Tab S3 could be a strong contender in the tablet market.
