Gamers who have upgraded to the latest Windows 8.1 operating system which rolled out last month and have been experiencing problems with either their gaming mouse or lag whilst playing games.
Will be pleased to learn that Microsoft has now released a new update for the Windows 8.1 operating system which among other things fixes issues with gaming mice and removes the lag problems experienced by a numbers of gamers using the latest Windows operating system.
The cause of the problems with mouse functions and lag is caused : “because Windows 8.1 introduced changes to mouse input processing for low latency interaction scenarios. Therefore, games respond to mouse inputs differently in Windows 8.1 than in previous versions of Windows” says Microsoft.
Microsoft’s new patch corrects issues with the following games:

Call of Duty: Black Ops – Multiplayer
Call of Duty: Black Ops II
Call of Duty: Black Ops II – Multiplayer
Call of Duty: Black Ops II – Zombies
Call of Duty: Ghosts – Multiplayer
Call of Duty: MW2 Call of Duty: MW2 – Multiplayer
Call of Duty: MW3 Call of Duty: MW3 – Multiplayer
Call of Duty: MW Call of Duty: MW – Multiplayer
Counter Strike: Global Offensive
Counter Strike: Source
