Apple [AAPL] has announced a new version of their Apple TV, it features a new design and is a lot smaller than the previous model. Thew new Apple TV is all about TV and Movie rentals as there is no built in storage.
You will be able to stream your content direct to your Apple TV from your computer, and you will now be able to rent HD TV shows for $0.99, and HD movies for $4.99 on the same day they are released on DVD.
The new Apple TV also features Netflix streaming, and it comes with built in WiFi, HDMI and also Ethernet, you will also be able to stream content from your iOS device like your iPhone of Pad using AirPlay direct to your Apple TV.
The new Apple TV will be available for $99 and is available to pre-order today and it will be available in about 4 weeks.
