Last month a Red charity auction which sold products designed by Apple’s Jonny Ive and designer Marc Newson raised over $13 million US dollars for the charity.
One of the products that was sold at the auction was a red Mac pro, which was sold for $977,000, and now it looks like Tony Fadell, who previously worked at Apple, and was responsible for the iPod, and now runs Nest bought this one of a kind Mac Pro.
The photo below was posted on Twitter by Kevin Abosch, and in shows Tony Fadell next to the red Mac Pro, it also looks like he snapped up the gold EarPod headphones, which went for $461,000 at the auction.

Tony Fadell is responsible for one of Apple’s most popular devices he started working at Apple in 2001, and he created the original design for the iPod, he then became VP of iPod engineering in 2004.
Fadell left Apple in 2008, and then founded Nest Labs in 2010 with Matt Rogers, the company has since released the Nest Thermostat and the Nest Protect, which is a smart smoke detector.
