A company called Mozaex has announced what it claims to be the world’s first headphones to support Blu-ray 7.1 discrete HD audio. The headphones are called the BluWavs 7.1 HD headphones. They also happen to be some of the most expensive headphones in the world.
The headphones have 10 discrete integrated speakers with EQ levels that can be adjusted. The headphones are aimed at everything from gaming to watching movies and listening to music. The headphones promise bit rates of up to 27 Mbps.
Another feature is an integrated vibration subwoofer with its own bass booster amp and crossover. The company promises that the vibration subwoofer delivers way she can hear and feel. The headphone support L PCM, DTS-HD Master, and Dolby TrueHD Audio. The most shocking part about these headphones is the price. Depending on options, you’re going to pay between $1295 and $2595 for the headphones and receiver.
