Display and Design
The 4.5 inch high definition display of the Moto G is one of its standout features. With a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the screen offers vibrant colors and sharp images, making it ideal for watching videos, browsing the web, and playing games. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which adds a layer of durability against scratches and minor drops. The design of the Moto G is sleek and ergonomic, fitting comfortably in the hand. The back cover is removable, allowing users to customize the look of their phone with different colored shells.
Performance and Storage
Under the hood, the Moto G is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. This ensures smooth performance for everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, and light gaming. The 1GB of RAM complements the processor, allowing for efficient multitasking. While the 8GB of built-in storage may seem limited, it is sufficient for storing essential apps and a moderate amount of media. Unfortunately, the Moto G does not come with a microSD card slot, so users will need to manage their storage carefully.
The Moto G also includes an FM Radio, which is a handy feature for those who enjoy listening to local radio stations. Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi connectivity ensure that users can stay connected to their devices and the internet with ease. The handset supports 3G networks, providing decent internet speeds for browsing and streaming.
The camera setup on the Moto G is modest but functional. The 5 megapixel rear camera is capable of capturing decent photos and 720p HD video. It includes features such as autofocus, LED flash, and HDR mode, which enhance the quality of the images. The 1.3 megapixel front camera is suitable for video chats and selfies, though it may not deliver the same quality as higher-end smartphones.
