Last week, Motorola introduced the extremely affordable Moto E, which doesn’t only come with a budget-friendly price tag, but it also comes with stock version of Android.
If you’re a developer, you be glad to find out that Motorola has added Moto E to their bootloader unlock program. This means you can unlock your bootloader, and tinker with your device the way you want.
Stock Android is excellent on its own, but unlocking the bootloader give developers the ability to do whatever they want with the software, flash new ROMs, and much more. Just visit the Motorola link below, and click on the unlock link right next to your region, and follow the necessary steps.
As a reminder, the Moto E comes with a pretty decent set of specifications considering its price tag, and rocks a 4.3-inch qHD display sporting a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The handset is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon 200 SoC with 1GB of RAM. Other features include 4GB of storage with a microSD card slot, 5MP camera, and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat as its operating system.
