The new year is here, and Motorola has a perfect new year gift for all of its customers thinking about getting the highly customizable Moto X.
After offering the $150 discount several times in the past few weeks, Motorola has decided to slash the price of the Moto X permanently to $399 without a contract.
Motorola had a huge success with their last few promotions when the highly customizable Moto X was offered for $349, and sold out within minutes after the offer went line. This might have given Motorola a slight hint that customers want to get their hands-on the handset, and reducing the price could be a good way to attract them. It’s not $349, but $399 sounds like a good deal as you are not tied to any one carrier and can switch anytime you wish.
Moto X features a 4.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 2GB of RAM, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 16/32GB storage and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. The best part is that Motorola already rolled out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for all the major US carriers, and even the affordable Moto G is getting the latest Android 4.4.2 update.
