Nokia had a pretty decent start of the year. Back in February at the Mobile World Congress 2014, the Finns launched their first AOSP based Nokia X handset, followed by a trio of handsets running Windows Phone 8.1 at Build 2014.
If you think Nokia is done with handsets for some time, think again. According to @evleaks, Nokia is working on eight more devices codenamed Ara, Leo, Moonraker, Onyx, Peridot, Superman, Tesla, and Vantage.

At the moment, there’s no word if these are smartphones running Windows Phone 8.1 or tablets, but its at least a good news for Nokia fans that they will see a number of new handsets from the Finnish maker later this year. They could be devices catering the needs of various customers, from low-end to high-end.
The company will soon come under Microsoft leadership, and we might see the devices hit retail with a different name. For those of you who don’t know, Nokia was acquired by Microsoft, and the acquisition is awaiting approval from regulatory authorities over the world. The deal is expected to close by the end of this month.
These are all new codenames, and it seems Nokia will still try to push Windows Phone operating system, since the company managed to introduced a bunch of new features in the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS. We’ll update you if we get more information about the leaked devices.
