HTC is said to be working on another flagship device which will see the light of the day next year, and is codenamed Hima which could be the successor of the HTC One M8.
Recently, some details about the specifications of the alleged HTC Hima made their way on to the internet. The information comes from the Twitter leaked UpLeaks who was correct on a number of occasions in the past so we can give the information some weight.
As per UpLeaks, the purported HTC Hima will launch in March 2015, and the Taiwanese company may launch some new Desire handsets at the Mobile World Congress 2015.
As for the specifications, the alleged handset is said to come with a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. The processing comes from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset clocked at 2GHz with 3GB of RAM, 2,840 mAh battery and a 20.7MP rear camera for photos and videos. There’s no word about the storage, but it’s likely to feature 32GB with a microSD card support for expansion.
The leaker further mentions that it will come with either a 4MP UltraPixel or 13MP front-facing camera, and will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI on top of it.
There’s no official confirmation from HTC so it’s recommended to be dealt with a grain of salt. We’ll update you if we get an other information about the alleged device.
