Microsoft has announced more details for home entertainment on the update that is set to land tomorrow for the Xbox 360 game console. The update will bring with it something that Microsoft says will transform TV. The update will put all the entertainment you want in one place with access to games, movies, and TV.

Xbox 360

The update will take advantage of the Kinect to use your voice to find any content you want. It will also allow Kinect voice search of Bing. You will also be able to use your voice as a remote to find programming on Xbox Live and on Live Markets. The new apps that will come with the update include Epix, ESPN Xbox Live, Hulu Plus, and Today for those in the US.

There are also some new addition for folks in other countries with Hulu in Japan, LOVEFiLM in the UK, Netflix in Canada and the US, Premium Play in Italy, and several more channels are available. Later in December a lot, more content will come on line too. All of it will be searchable using your voice. I can’t wait to try that out.
