We have been hearing rumors for a while that Microsoft are getting ready to launch their Microsoft Office app for Apple’s iOS devices and Google’s Android devices, and now it would appear that the apps will launch some time in early 2013 as we mentioned earlier,
According to the guys over at The Verge, Office Mobile will be available as free apps on both Android and iOS, and they will let you view Microsoft Office documents on your iOS and Android device.
In order to edit Office documents with the apps, you will need a subscription to Microsoft’s Office 365 service, once you have this you will then be able to edit the documents from within the app.
Microsoft Office for iOS and Android is expected to launch some time in early 2013, with a possible launch date of March, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
