MakerBot well known for its range of 3D printers and new Makerbot Digitizer device which launched just a few months ago, has this week announced the launch of the MakerBot Thingiverse iOS applications that allows easy browsing of the thriving design community for discovering, making, and sharing 3D printable things.
The new MakerBot Thingiverse iOS app has been designed to provide users worth an easy ways to browse what is available from the community from your Apple smartphone and see whats whats new and noteworthy.
The app has also been designed to allow users to upload their own creations to the MakerBot Thingiverse, allowing you to easily share them with popular social networks and the like. Makerbot explains a little more about the new iOS app which is available to download from the Apple iTunes App Store for free.
“As the world’s largest 3D printing community, we believe that everyone should be encouraged to create and remix 3D things, no matter their technical expertise or previous experience. In the spirit of maintaining an open platform, all designs are encouraged to be licensed under a Creative Commons license.”
