Rouzen Tech has designed and prototyped a new wireless charger called the Magket, which as the name suggests uses magnets to keep your smartphone in place during charging. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the magnetic mechanism incorporated into the Magket wireless charger, which has this week launched via Kickstarter.
Early bird pledges are now available from £37 or roughly $49 offering a considerable saving off the recommended retail price of $79 which will take effect once the crowdfunding campaign comes to a close and just over 28 days time. If all goes well well worldwide shipping is expected to take place before 2019.
“Yes, it’s as simple as putting your phone on the stand. It will hold your phone and charge it at the same time. You can use your phone with just one hand. Simplifying and making your life easy is what we are aiming to do. The Magket silicone case fits nicely over the volume buttons, side button, and curves of your device without adding bulk. A soft microfiber lining on the inside of case helps protect your phone. On the outside, the smooth, soft-touch finish of the silicone exterior feels great in your hand. It’s prefect for you anytime anywhere, even when you’re charging wirelessly.”
