Live Lock Screen app has been teased by Microsoft a few times in the past few weeks. The app lets you choose from multiple layouts and customize your lockscreen on your Windows Phone device.
There are six different layouts to choose from, each having its own distinctive feature, showing a revamped design for the date and other notifications.
“Want to truly personalize your lock screen? Live lock screen lets you choose from 6 new lock screen layouts to add a distinctive touch to your Windows Phone. Each layout has a revamped design for the time, date, and notifications, as well as a unique unlock animation. You can also cycle through multiple background images throughout the day to keep your lock screen fresh—or just get the latest incredible image from Bing every morning,” the app description reads.
There’s a catch here: the app is compatible with devices running Windows Phone 8.1, and should have 1GB of RAM. Reports suggest that 512MB devices are running the app as well, but performance issues are imminent on low RAM handsets.
