LittleBits has today announced the launch of a new Arduino module to their range of components in the form of the new Arduino at Heart.
As the name suggests the Arduino at Heart module has been designed by LittleBits to enable users to build Arduino powered devices using their other easy plug-and-play components.
If you are not already aware of LittleBits, the company makes an open source library of electronic modules that have been designed to snap together with tiny magnets. Enabling anyone to start prototyping, learning, and have fun at the same time. Littlebits has created a limited edition Arduino Starter bundle that is available to purchase for $89 and contains eight of their favourite prototyping modules. LittleBits explains :
“Make your own Etch-a-Sketch! Program a visual display! We’ll walk you through the basics using the Arduino programming environment, without the breadboarding, soldering or wiring normally required. Perfect for hackers, designers, makers and tinkerers of all levels.”
