Not too long ago, the folks at OnePlus One posted a teaser showing that the highly anticipated handset will hit retail in 16 countries, but didn’t list all of them.
If you’re waiting for the handset to hit retail, you be glad to find out that it will 16 countries globally, for a sub-$400 (less than 350 euros), which is quite impressive considering the specifications it has to offer.

The list of countries include Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK and USA.
This is a pretty decent list for the initial launch, which also includes some of the biggest smartphone markets. It’s surprising to see that China is not in the list of countries where it will launch.
As far as the specifications of the OnePlus One are concerned, the handset will rock a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 13MP camera for photos and videos, a 3,100 mAh battery and should come with Cyanogenmod based on Android 4.4 KitKat as its operating system.
The handset is set to launch on April 23rd, where the company will release complete details about the handset.
