Audi has announced that it is launching a new limited edition version of their R8 supercar, the Audi R8 V10 RWS.
The Audi R8 V10 RWS will be limited to just 999 cars and it is Audi’s first rear wheel drive production car.
The new R8 V10 RWS will come with a 5.2 litre naturally aspirated V10 engine that produces 540 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque. This powerful engine will give the supercar a 0 to 62 miles per hour time of just 3.7 seconds for the coupe and 3.8 seconds for the Spyder. This performance is achieved thanks to the car’s lightweight construction and the rear-wheel-drive setup, which provides a more engaging driving experience compared to the all-wheel-drive versions.
Performance and Specifications
The coupe will come with a top speed of 198.8 miles per hour and the Spyder a top speed of 197.6 miles per hour.
