LG already has a curved smartphone with their LG G Flex handset, and now it looks like the company has plans to launch a bendable smartphone in 2015.
LG recently released a roadmap of some devices it is working on, and the list of devices includes a new bendable smartphone for 2015, plus a foldable and rollable device by 2017.
The company plans to use its new P-OLED or Plastic OLED displays is these new bendable devices, their latest smartwatch comes with an P-OLED display.
As Plastic OLED can be applied to curved displays that are bent to a certain curvature, it can be used in various ways, including electronic goods, such as mobile phones, monitors, and TV, as well as cars, wearable devices, and items for interior design.
Other than its design, Plastic OLED is valuable in terms of portability and durability as well. Hence, it seems that Plastic OLED will play an important role in people’s everyday lives in the future.
