We have already seen some leaked photos of the LG Optimus L9 for US mobile carrier T-Mobile, and now T-Mobile has officially announced the device and have said it will be available on their network this fall.
The LG Optimus L9 will feature a 4.7 inch qHD touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, it is powered by a dual core 1GHz processor and comes with 1GB of RAM and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
“The LG Optimus L9 gives our customers an amazing 4G experience packaged in a stylish design,” said Brad Duea, senior vice president, product management, T-Mobile USA. “And, when coupled with T-Mobile’s Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan, T-Mobile customers have the freedom to live an always-connected lifestyle on our 4G network– whether that means watching videos, streaming music or searching the Web – without having to worry about overage charges or surprise bills.”
Other specifications on the LG Optimus L9 include a 5 megapixel camera, a 2,150 mAh battery, and 4GB of built in storage, there are no details as yet on when the handset will be available, T-Mobile have said it will be available ‘this fall’.
