Not too long ago, LG introduced their flagship LG G4 which has started hitting retail shelves in several markets, but it seems the company may launch another flagship device later this year.
It’s not new for LG to launch two flagships in a year, the company has done so in the past, and plans to do the same this year as well. Last year, LG released the 5.5-inch LG G Pro 2 carrying top-of-the-line specifications, followed by the LG G3.
According to a report from Focus Taiwan, the Korean company may launch a new flagship device later this year as well.
Eason Shao, director of mobile business unit at LG’s Taiwan branch said, “LG will continue its dual-flagship strategy this year with the new G4 and another flagship phone scheduled for release in the second half of 2015, hoping that combined sales of the two devices in Taiwan will increase by 30 percent from last year.”
Shao did say that the specifications of the next flagship are not confirmed yet, but it shouldn’t be too long before we start hearing about it.
There’s a possibility we may get to see a Galaxy Note 4 competitors, LG has launched the G4 Stylus, but it’s still can’t match the Galaxy Note 4 from Samsung.
We’ll update you as soon as we hear anything more.
