The next generation LG smartphone will not be called the LG G7. LG is apparently giving the LG G6 successor a different name. The handset is not coming at Mobile World Congress this month, which is something we heard previously.
Launch Date and Processor
According to Evan Blass and Venture Beat, the new LG G6 successor will be launching in June. This delay from the expected Mobile World Congress launch suggests that LG is taking extra time to refine the device. The handset will feature the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, which is known for its high performance and efficiency. This processor is expected to provide a significant boost in speed and battery life compared to its predecessors.
Memory and Storage
The handset will also come with 4GB of RAM and will feature 64GB of built-in storage. While 4GB of RAM might seem modest for a flagship device in 2023, it is worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy S9 also comes with 4GB of RAM. However, some tech enthusiasts might have expected at least 6GB of RAM for this new flagship to better compete with other high-end smartphones on the market. The 64GB of internal storage should be sufficient for most users, but it is likely that the device will also support expandable storage via a microSD card.
Camera and Other Features
