We had previously heard that the LG G5 would be launching on the 8th of April, although LG has released a new advert for the handset, which you can see below and listed the 1st of April as the launch date.
The handset is one of the first modular smartphones to hit the market and it will be available with a range of different modules like a camera module.
The LG G5 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, it also comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage, there is also a microSD card slot for extra storage.
The device is equipped with a 5.3 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it comes with high end cameras on the front and back.
The front camera on the device is an 8 megapixel camera and the rear camera comes with 16 megapixels plus a range of advanced features that include Optical Image Stabilization, Laser Auto Focus and more, it comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
