The first Android Wear smart watches are now available, this includes the new LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live, and now we have an unboxing video of the LG G Watch.
The video below was put together by the guys over at Mobile Geeks, and it gives is a quick look at this new Android Wear device, including the design of this new smartwatch.
The new LG G Watch comes with a 1.65 inch IPS LCD display, the display has a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels, and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
Other specifications on the LG G Watch include 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built in storage, it also comes with Bluetooth 4.0 LE which is used to connect the device to your smartphone or tablet.
The G watch measures 37.9mm by 46.5mm by 9.95mm thick and it weighs in at 63 grams, it also features a 400 mAh battery, which can be recharged via a USB cable.
The new LG G Watch is designed to be both dust and waterproof and it conforms to the IP67 certifications, the device iw available in two colors, black and gold.
It comes with Google’s we wearable OS, Android Wear, which is compatible with Android smartphones and tablets that are running Android 4.3 and above.
The device retails for £159 in the UK and for $229 in the US, it is available to order now direct from Google Play, and it will start shipping out on the 7th off July.
