Earlier this month we heard that LG would be releasing the LG G Flex Android 4.4 Kit Kat update, and now LG has started rolling out the update in its home country of South Korea.
The Android 4.4 Kit Kat brings a number of new features to the LG G Flex, and it also brings LG’s new Knock Code that was introduced with the LG G Pro 2.
You can check to see if the update is available for the LG G Flex by going to the upgrade center on your handset and then going to Menu, followed by Phone versions upgrade.
As a reminder the LG G Flex comes with a 6 inch flexible display that has a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the device also comes with a Quad core 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
Other specifications on the LG G Flex include 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage, and the device is equipped with front and rear facing cameras.
On the front of the LG G Flex there is a 2.1 megapixel camera for video chat, on the back of the device there is a 13 megapixel camera for photos and video.
As yet there are no details on when LG will release the Android 4.4.2 update for the LG G Flex is other countries, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
