Details of a new Lenovo fitness tracker have been unveiled over on the FCC website this week providing a first look at the rumoured Lenovo Smartband.
The Lenovo Smartband fitness tracker has been revealed thanks to a selection of photographs which have been published together with a user manual for the device.
Originally Lenovo was expected to unveil their new fitness tracking device clearly this year during the IFA technology event. Unfortunately this never happened but the fitness tracker was spotted making its way through the Bluetooth SIG’s series of tests hinting at the devices design.
Features of the new Lenovo SW-B100 Smartband includes a battery that is capable of powering the device for up to 7 days on a single charge. Together with Bluetooth 4 low-energy connectivity and the ability to track steps, your activity levels, heart rate and your sleep patterns.
Lenovo has also made a new fitness tracker IP67 water and dust resistant, and capable of supporting both iOS 7 and higher devices and Android 4.3 operating systems and higher.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet for the Lenovo Smartband, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
