Mitsubishi saw fit to kill off the only interesting car that it makes with the discontinuation of the Lancer Evo. The very last Lancer Evolution Final Edition for the US is going up for auction with all the proceeds benefiting charity to help feed the hungry. The Evo in question is US1600 production number and the auction will take place on eBay starting at 9am Thursday.
The auction will end on Thursday September 15 at 9am. The auction is schedule to coordinate with national Hunger Action month. If you are unfamiliar with the Evo Final Edition, the car has a turbo four with 303hp and a 5-speed manual transmission.
The final edition also gets some special style touches with a black roof, dark chrome Enkei wheels and a special diamond white peal paint. Inside the car has black pillars, sun visors, headliner, and more. It also gets a serial number plaque on the dash and red stitch accents on the seats, steering wheel, shift knob, console lid, and other places. There is no word on how much the car is expected to bring at auction.
