They say money can’t buy taste, but it can buy a Koenigsegg Agera RS customized to your liking even if that liking is lots of gaudy gold leaf everywhere. The car you see in the image here will debut at the Salon Prive and was highly customized at the buyer’s request. The car is named “Naraya”, a word that has ties to the owner’s family somehow.
The body of this Agera RS is exposed carbon fiber tinted blue with gold leaf abounding inside and out. All that gold leaf was applied by hand at the factory in Sweden by a famed car and motorcycle customizer called Ettore “Blaster” Callegaro. The extensive customization took two weeks at 12 hours a day, six days per week.
All that gold leaf is finished in multiple coats of clear to prevent scratching. Inside the car has blue Alcantara with gold piping and stitching. Inside the car also has an 18k gold Naraya nameplate with 155 cultured diamonds. It’s tacky in a very fast and cool way. Like all Agera RS models, this one has 1160hp and 1280nm torque.
