Kodak has launched its first smartphone at CES, the Kodak IM5 which is an Android smartphone with a 5 inch Full HD display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Kodak IM5 comes with an eight core 1.7GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, there is also 8GB of included storage, plus a microSD card slot which takes up to a 32GB card.
Adds Eileen Murphy, VP Brand Licensing at Kodak: “Too many memories stay stuck on mobile phones, often because the process for sharing them is too complicated for users; that’s why we’ve partnered on the IM5, the first device in a range of mobile products that takes our heritage and experience in photographic technology and combines it with Bullitt’s expertise in designing high-quality devices for a specific target consumer.”
Other specifications on the Kodak IM5 include a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 13 megapixel rear camera with a flash, the handset will be available in two colors, black and white, the handset has been produced in partnership with Bullitt Group.
