If like me you sometimes misplace your keys or smartphone you may be interested in a new system designed by Bryce Alsten and Scott McKenzie based in Miami, Florida. Check out the video below to learn more about the Bluetooth enabled phone stand and phone grip that allows you to easily find your keys and your smartphone even when it’s turned off, silent or dead.
The kickstand attaches to your phone using a super-strong re-stickable adhesive that will adhere to any phone or smooth phone case And is now available to back with early bird pledges available from $65 or roughly £51. A piezoelectric speaker housed inside the trackers produces a unique ringtone at 90 decibels. It’s creators explain more about the technology incorporated into the smartphone tracker.
“Both the kickstand and the key fob contain certified Bluetooth modules that allow the two devices to communicate within a range of up to 300 ft. Bluetooth 4.2 technology has very low power consumption, which means an extremely long battery life. Each device uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery that lasts up to an entire year and can be easily replaced for less than a dollar.”
