KEF has announced a new set of desktop computer speakers called the X300A Wireless. These speakers are a wireless version of the original X300A desktop speakers. The wireless capability allows the speakers to play music from Airplay and DLNA devices.
The speakers still require a USB connection to a computer for playback. The speakers use twin class AB amplifiers in each speaker with one controlling mid and low range sounds any other controlling high range sounds. That is to help prevent distortion and provide higher-quality sound.
The USB connection provides 96 kHz/24-bit HD distortion free audio. The speakers also have a 3.5 mm analog input to support devices lacking wireless capability. The X300A Wireless speakers are $999.99 making this one of the most expensive computer speaker setups around.
