The Jolla smartphone with Sailfish OS launched in Helsinki last month, the handset and software on the device was built by some ex Nokia engineers, and now we have an unboxing video of this new smartphone from the guys over at Pocket Now.
The Smartphone comes with a 4.5 inch IPS display with a qHD resolution of 540 960 pixels, the handset is powered by a 1.4Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and it features 1GB of RAM.
Other specifications on the Jolla smartphone include 16GB of built in storage, should you need additional storage, the handset is equipped with a microSD card slot which supports 64GB cards.
The Jolla smartphone also comes with front and rear facing camera, on the front we have a 2 megapixel camera for video calls, on the back we have an 8 megapixel camera for photos and video.
The handset runs Sailfish OS, and the company announced recently that they plan to make the OS available to Android devices in the future.
