Anyone who has deep pockets and also enjoys Formula One racing may be interested to know that iXoost have added a new addition to their range of audio docks in the form of the XiLO 5.1 that has been inspired by F1.
The iXoost XiLO 5.1 is expected to be priced at around $4700 or €3800 when it launches in the near future, and is slightly cheaper than its previous audio dock which was priced at $6,500. Although these new prices have not been confirmed as yet.
As you would expect with a new audio dock the XiLO 5.1 has now been upgraded and includes Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Meaning that any Bluetooth equipped smartphone and tablet can now use the dock rather than just iOS smartphones or iPods that are physically docked in the device.
As you can see from the design of the latest iXoost audio dock the speaker has been equipped with five forward-facing outlets, and a subwoofer is hidden in the birch wood stand. iXoost explains :
“Sometimes you come across an idea that’s so simple that nobody’s ever thought of it. That’s what iXOOST is like: making an exhaust pipe ring out loud and clear, turning it into a design object that binds Italian passion and craftsmanship. Mechanics and Sound to be seen, heard and touched. The very first three-dimensional dock station. Painstaking craftsmanship for the perfect audio experience.”
