The current iPhone, the iPhone 5S comes with a 1560 mAh battery, and we heard rumors previously that the iPhone 6 would get a slightly later battery of around 1900 mAh.
Now a new battery has turned up, which is rumored to be for the new iPhone 6, and this can be seen in the photo below, it features a capacity of 1810 mAh.
Apple are expected to launch a 4.7 inch iPhone 6 and a 5.5 inch handset, this new 1,810 mAh battery is probably for the 4.7 inch version of the device, as we previously heard that the 5.5 inch model would get a larger battery of around 2500 mAh.
With these new larger displays on the iPhone 6, the new handset would be expected to use more power than the current iPhone 5S, although Apple may have made some improvements to battery usage for their new smartphone.
We can probably expect the battery life on the new iPhone 6 to be similar to that of the current iPhone 5S, if you take into account the larger display and also the larger battery.
The next generation iPhone is rumored to go on sale on the 19th of Seotember, it is not clear as yet on whether this date will be for both models of the handset of for just the 4.7 inch version of Apple’s new iPhone. Have a look at out handy guide on how to improve iPhone battery life.
