If you remember the Dreamcast console launched by Sega back in 1998 then you will also probably remember the Visual Memory Unit (VMU) that came with the Dreamcast.
A modder has taken the VMU 1.5 inch screen and replaced it with a new Nano, complete with headphone socket. Check out the video after the break to see it in action.
The Dreamcast VMU back in 1998 could be transformed from a mere game storage device into a handheld game console. I even remember that one console game required you playing part of the game on the VMU to advance to the next stage.
If you fancy creating your own retro Dreamcast VMU music player only a few modifications are required with a little soldering.
