The iPhone SE used to be Apple’s cheapest iPhone, the handset is no longer available and Apple has their new iPhone XR which is the entry level model of this years new devices.
Now we have a speed test video for the new iPhone XR vs iPhone SE, the two handsets are tested side by side.
Apple’s iPhone XR comes with the same A12 Bionic processor that is used in the iPhone XS, the iPhone SE features the Apple A9 processor.
The older iPhone SE comes with Touch ID and the new iPhone XR comes with Apple’s Face ID technology. Both handset are using the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS. As we can see from the video the older iPhone SE did a pretty good job in keeping up with Apple’s new iPhone.
Apple has obviously optimized the latest version of their mobile OS to work well on the older devices as well as the new devices.
