The iPhone SE will go up for pre-order in the US and a number of other countries this Thursday the 24th of March, the handset will launch on the 31st of March.
Apple also announced that the device would launch in other countries next month and now it looks like it is headed to India on the 8th of April.
Apple’s new iPhone SE shares a similar design to the iPhone 5S, although it comes with many of the hardware specifications of the iPhone 6S.
The handset features the Apple A9 processor and a 12 megapixel camera, it also comes with support for Apple Pay.
Prices for the iPhone SE will start at INR 39,000 which is around $584 at the current exchange rate, the handset retails for $399 in the US.
