We have heard previous rumors about the iPhone 5 release date, the handset is expected to go on sale on the 19th of September, and now according to a recent report, the device will be launched in China on the 25th of September.
Apple are rumored to launch two different versions of their new iPhone in September, one with a 4.7 inch display, the other with a 5.5 inch display, we are also expecting to see the new Apple iWatch at the same time.
Both versions of Apple’s iPhone 6 are said to share similar specifications, they will feature a new 64-bit mobile processor that Apple has designed in house, the Apple A8, both devices will also come with more RAM than the iPhone 5S.
Apple have also apparently developed a new fingerprint sensor for their next iPhone, this is also expected to be used in the new iPad Mini 3 and the iPad Air 2.
There are said to be some minor differences between the two versions of the iPhone 6, the 4.7 inch model is rumored to come with a new camera with Electronic Image Stabilization, the 5.5 inch model is also said to feature a new camera, although this is expected to feature Optical Image Stabilization, it is also rumored to be the only version with 128GB of storage.
We have also heard rumors of different display resolutions for the two handsets, the 4.7 inch model may feature a resolution of 1704 x 960 pixels and the 5.5 inch model may come with a Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The new iPhone 6 will come with the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS, iOS 8, which was shown off at WWDC 2014 last month, as soon as we get some more details about these new iPhones we will let you guys know.
