We have seen a wide range of iPhone 6 mockups over the last few weeks, and according to a recent report, these mockups, which are based on leaked schematics, do not show the final design for Apple’s new iPhone.
According to a recent report by the Nikkei, the final design of the handset will be slight different than what the have seen so far. The handsets display will feature a slightly curved display that will fit perfectly into the aluminum shell, the device will also not come with the white stripes and the top and bottom that we have seen in the mockups.
Apple are rumored to launch two versions of the iPhone 6, one with a 4.7 inch display, the other with a 5.5 inch display, and both devices are said to come with slightly different specifications.
We have heard rumors of different resolutions, so it is possible that the 4.7 inch model could have a resolution of 1704 x 960 pixels, and the 5.5inch model could come with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Both versions of Apple’s new iPhone are said to feature the company’s second generation 64-bit mobile processor, the Apple A8, and they will also come with more RAM than the existing iPhone 5S.
There have also been rumors that the 5.5 inch model of the iPhone 6 will come with an improved camera over the 4.7 inch model with OIS, the 4.7 inch model is expected to come with EIS.
We are expecting the iPhone 6 to go on sale in September, along with the new Apple iWatch and iOS 8 is also expected to launch at the same time.
