We have been hearing quite a few rumors about Apple’s new iPhone 5 over the last month, earlier today we learned that Apple are holding their iPhone 5 launch event next Wednesday the 12th of September.
There have been various rumors about the iPhone 5 which include that the smartphone will come with a new 4 inch touchscreen display and will feature a new dock connector, a slimmer design and Apple’s new Nano SIM cards.
Now according to a recent report by iMore, the leaked details are correct and we can expect the iPhone 5 to come with the features that we have been hearing about recently.
iMore has learned that recent parts leaks and dummy phones are accurate representations of what the new iPhone (iPhone 5,1) will look like when Apple announces it on September 12, 2012. Almost identical in design to the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, the major visible differences will include a 4-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a metallic plate across most the back, and a miniaturized Dock connector and relocated 3.5mm headset jack along the bottom.
The guys over at iMore have said that their information has come from a reliable source who has provided them with accurate information on Apple devices in the past.
