Apple is apparently gearing up to release iOS 8 Beta 4, and according to BGR, the latest beta of Apple’s new mobile OS is expected to land next week.
Apple iOS 8 Beta 4 is rumored to launch next Monday, the 21st of July, which would mean that there is just two weeks between this new release and the previous release.
iOS Beta 3 was released two weeks ago, and the previous version was released three weeks prior to that. The upcoming beta is said to come with some new features, plus a range of bug fixes and more.
New Features and Improvements
The iOS 8 Beta 4 is expected to introduce several new features and improvements that will enhance the user experience. One of the anticipated features is the inclusion of Apple’s new Health app, which aims to provide users with a comprehensive health and fitness tracking system. This app will integrate with various health and fitness devices and apps, allowing users to monitor their health metrics in one place.
Additionally, iOS 8 Beta 4 is likely to bring deeper integration with Apple’s new desktop software, OS X Yosemite. This integration will enable features such as Handoff, which allows users to start a task on one Apple device and continue it on another seamlessly. For example, you could start writing an email on your iPhone and finish it on your Mac without any interruption.
Another expected improvement is the enhancement of the Notification Center, making it more interactive and user-friendly. Users will be able to respond to messages, emails, and other notifications directly from the Notification Center without having to open the respective apps.
Bug Fixes and Performance Enhancements
As with any beta release, iOS 8 Beta 4 will also focus on addressing various bugs and performance issues reported by developers and users in the previous beta versions. Apple is known for its commitment to providing a smooth and stable user experience, and this beta release will be no different.
Some of the bug fixes expected in iOS 8 Beta 4 include resolving issues with app crashes, improving battery life, and enhancing overall system stability. Developers have reported several bugs in the earlier beta versions, and Apple has been actively working to address these issues to ensure a more polished final release.
Apple previously announced that iOS 8 would be launched this fall, but the company has yet to give a specific date on when the software will be available to the public. However, it is widely expected to land in September, coinciding with the release of the highly anticipated iPhone 6. The new software will bring a wide range of new features to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, making it one of the most significant updates to Apple’s mobile operating system.
As soon as we get more details on what updates will be included in the new iOS 8 Beta 4, we will let you guys know.
