The new iOS 11.2 software is here, we just saw some videos of the latest version of iOS versus the previous one. Now we have another video, this one tests to see if there is any battery life improvement in the new OS.
In the videos below GeekBench 4 is run on the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S and iPhone 7. The battery test is run using the new iOS 11.2 software, It is then compared to previous battery tests that were run on the same devices.
As we can see from the video the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 see a minor reduction in battery life, where as the iPhone 6S and iPhone 7 have seen some improvement in battery life in the tests.
The new version of Apple’s iOS is now available as an over the air update for the iPhone and iPad, and of course the iPod Touch. You can install the update on your device by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
