Jeep has a range of Wranglers that is festooned with special version each with their own name. We have the Rubicon, Rubicon Hard Rock, Golden Eagle, Willis Wheeler and so on. A new picture has turned up that shows a new Wrangler JL on a car hauler said to be taken near the Jeep HQ.
Not only was the car spied near the HQ, but it was reportedly being taken to an area with other Wranglers suggesting it’s a special model. Difference between this and regular JL Wranglers include different rock rails, black tow hooks, black wheels, gray Jeep logo, and BFG Mud Terrain KM2 tires along with factory steel bumpers.
Normal JL and JK Wranglers get plastic covered bumpers. It’s not confirmed if this is a new and upcoming special edition or if it’s simply an aftermarket massaged JL. On a carrier near Chrysler HQ and being offloaded in an area near other Wranglers sounds like a special edition to us.
