The makers of the Elevation iPhone dock that proved very popular over on the Kickstarter website in 2012 and raised over $1.4 million, have this week launched a new product called the iMac Elevation Stand.

As the name suggests the new aluminium iMac Elevation Stand has been created to raise your iMac computer to provide users with improved posture and comfort. Watch the promotional Kickstarter view after the jump to learn more.

iMac Elevation Stand

The iMac Elevation Stand project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production and has already blasted past it $40,000 pledge goal meaning it will go into production with 59 days of the campaign still left to run.

“Raising your monitor can improve your posture. You’ll naturally sit up straighter, hunch less, and it’s a lot more comfortable through the day.  If you’ve looked for a stand, you may have felt our frustration – cheap construction, distracting aesthetics, and they take up a lot of desk space.

So we designed our own. Strong unibody construction, seamless design, precision CNC milled, beautiful finish, hidden storage, ultra-secure, minimal, smallest footprint, gorgeous on a desk. We’ll use a 90 million pound press, one of the biggest in North America, to extrude its profile. Tesla uses it to make structures for the Model S.”

So if you think iMac Elevation Stand is something you could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help iMac Elevation Stand become a reality.
