Ideum has this week taken the wraps of its new line of Platform Touch Tables which includes the slim Ideum Platform and chunkier Platform Pro which have been created to compete with the Surface SUR40 touch table.
The Ideum Platform Touch Table is equipped with an Intel Core i7 2720QM 2.2GHz processor supported by 8GB of RAM, together with graphics provided by a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 1GB graphics card, as well as stereo 10W speakers.
Other features include dual 256GB SSDs in RAID1 format, 2 x USB 2.0, 2 x HDMI , 1 x Ethernet and a 3.5mm audio output. The slight beefier Ideum Platform Pro Touch Table is equipped with a Core i7 2600 3.4GHz processor, supported by 8GB of RAM and again NVIDIA Quadro 600 1GB professional graphics.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Ideum , but as soon as information is released we will keep you updated as always.
