Huawei has been banned in the US and the company has now revealed how much the ban could end up costing it.
The news comes from the company’s boss Ren Zhengfei who has revealed that the US ban could end up costing the company a massive $30 billion.
Huawei is expected to suffer lower smartphone sales as part of the ban and this could be between 40 and 60 million less handsets per year.
The company is currently the world’s second largest smartphone maker after Samsung and this is expected to change when the ban comes into place.
Google is also stopping the company using the standard version of Android, instead they will have to use the open source version. The company has been working on its own mobile operating system for some time.
