Huawei has apparently been working on its own operating system for its smartphones, considering the recent ban of the companies devices in the US, it may be a good time for them to launch it.
Earlier this week we heard that Google was withdrawing Huawei’s Android license and then we heard this had been delayed for 90 days.
Now it has been revealed that Huawei has been working on their own OS which will be an alternative to Google’s Android OS and it could launch as soon as the fall of this year.
The news comes from Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu who has said that their own OS will debut this fall, which would be a good move for the company. When the ban comes into place in 90 days, Huawei will have to use the open source version of Android.
It will be interesting to see what Huawei’s own operating system for their mobile devices is like, as soon as we get more details, we will let you guys know.
