Note too long ago, Huawei sent out press invites for an event on November 5th, where the invite image hints at the launch of the company’s upcoming Kirin 950 processor. It’s the same processor which is rumored to launch with the Huawei Mate 8.
Previous rumors suggested that we may get to see the Huawei Mate 8 at the event, but it seems that’s not the case. Recently, a teaser image was spotted which hints that Huawei may launch the Mate 8 smartphone on November 26th, which isn’t too far away.
As you can see from the teaser image below, it shows “8” with the same circuitry shown on the November 5th invite spotted last week. So, it’s likely that it will launch with Huawei’s latest processor to make sure the smartphone can offer top notch performance in today’s competitive smartphone market.
Rumors suggest that the Huawei Mate 8 will boast a 6-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, and will be powered by a Kirin 950 processor paired with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot for expansion.
Other rumored features includes a 21MP camera for photos and videos, 8MP front-facing camera and is expected to ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
November 26th isn’t too far away, we’ll update you as soon as we hear anything more about the purported Mate 8 smartphone.
